Tooth Gems
Tooth gems are the ultimate way to make your smile your own—a subtle sparkle that catches the light and feels completely you. At Arcadia Medi-Dental Group, we keep it safe, and effortless with expertly applied Swarovski crystals or your own custom gem.
Your Style,
Your Sparkle
Tooth gems are crystals attached to a natural tooth. They’re professionally applied to the surface of a natural tooth using a safe, dental-grade adhesive.
Choose from one of our Swarovski crystal gems, or bring in your own for something one-of-a-kind. Our dental team applies each gem with precision and care, so your look feels polished, not overdone. Because a great smile is the best accessory you can have.
Safe, Simple, and Reversible.
No drilling, no damage.
Just professional-grade bonding that keeps your enamel happy. Your gem can last from a few months up to two years, and we can remove or replace it whenever you’re ready to switch things up.
Always choose a licensed dental professional to apply and remove your tooth gem. The adhesive used in safe, dental-grade applications is a clinically tested composite, designed to bond securely without harming your enamel.
CAUTION: Using non-professional materials such as at-home kits or beauty salon adhesives can damage your tooth surface permanently, leading to enamel erosion, discoloration, or even decay.

Caring for your tooth gem
After the application of your tooth gem, caring for it is simple.
Just brush as usual (gently around your gem). Avoid picking at the gem, and let your sparkle do the talking. Don't forget to visit us for regular cleanings to keep everything glowing.
Are Tooth Gems For Everyone?
Tooth gems are a safe, fun way to add sparkle to your smile, but they’re not ideal for everyone.
They’re not recommended for children under 12, and should be placed only after orthodontic treatment is complete. Tooth gems can be applied only to natural teeth, not to crowns, veneers, or other restorations.
If you have any dental issues, such as cavities or enamel concerns, we’ll address those first to make sure your teeth are healthy before placing your gem.
Our dentists at Arcadia Medi-Dental Group will walk you through the process and help you decide if tooth gems are a good fit for your smile.
